Trailers should have 2 maximum speeds registred.
All trailers today indicate a maximum speed. This is shown on the back side of the vehicle.
The problem is that this speed does not take into account whether the trailer is loaded or not.
Empty it is therefore possible to safely maybe drive twice the indicated speed whilst fully loaded this speed might be outright dangerous.
The solution is to register trailers with two maximum speeds; one for empty and one for loaded.
Loaded maximum speeds can be calculated with an object which volume corresponds with the length and width of the bed of the trailer and a height of 2/3 of the latter.
The weight of the object/load should be the maximum weight as described in the registration certificate.
