Frozen windows; which one is more important?
Problem: Look at the picture. You have seen it before during winter. These people who are driving their cars with the windows barely free of ice. Extremely dangerous.
However, something funny has happened in the car industry. The backside windows have electrical deicing and withing a couple of minutes the back windows are usually free of ice.
On the other side; the far more important front windows are still under a thick layer of ice because the cold engine is not yet able to produce any warmth.
Solution: forget about the back side heating. Electrical front window heating should be compulsory on any new car or replacement window.
